CHOICES APPROVED PROGRAM

Adult Day Services
& Non-Medical Home Care
in Chattanooga, TN

If you are caring for a parent or spouse and feeling stretched thin, you are not alone. Our Adult Day program gives your loved one a safe, engaging place to spend the day. Our Non-Medical Home Care brings reliable help directly to their door. Either way, you get the support your family needs.

Adult Day Services – A Safe Place During the Day

Here is the situation a lot of families are in: Mom or Dad cannot be left alone all day, but they do not need to move into a facility full-time. Maybe you work during the day. Maybe you just need a few hours to run errands or take a breath. That is exactly what our adult day program is for.

Our program operates inside our assisted living community, so your loved one gets the same meals, activities, and staff attention as our full-time residents. They spend the day eating well, staying active, and being around other people — not sitting alone at home.

Drop them off in the morning. Pick them up when you are done. It is flexible, and it works.

Daily Activities & Enrichment

Exercise, games, crafts, and conversation. Your loved one stays engaged and active.

Meals & Snacks

Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included. Meals are developed by a registered dietitian and are full meals, not boxed meals.

Social Connection

Being around other people matters. Our program reduces isolation and gives your loved one purpose and community.

IN-HOME SUPPORT

Non-Medical Home Care — Help Where They Live

Not everyone is ready to move, and not everyone needs to. Sometimes what your loved one needs a trained professional to come by the house a few times a week to help with the things that have gotten harder — taking a shower, cooking a meal, keeping the house clean, picking up groceries, etc.

Our home care is non-medical. That means our caregivers handle the practical, everyday tasks that keep your loved one comfortable and safe at home. No clinical procedures, no medical equipment — just reliable, caring help on a schedule that works for your family.

Bathing & Personal Care

Help with showers, grooming, and getting dressed. Handled with dignity and respect, in the comfort of home.

Meal Preparation

Nutritious meals prepared in your loved one’s kitchen, based on their preferences and dietary needs.

Light Housekeeping

Laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and general tidying. A clean home makes a big difference in quality of life.

Errands & Grocery Shopping

Pharmacy pickups, grocery runs, and other errands your loved one can no longer handle on their own.

Companionship

Conversation, walks, card games, or just being there. Loneliness is real, and having someone around helps.

Flexible Scheduling

A few hours a week or daily visits — we build the schedule around what your family actually needs.

Call us at (423) 490-2188 or email kenstonebrook@standiferplace.org. We will set up a consultation to understand what your loved one needs, and then build a care plan around that. Services can start as soon as the plan is in place — there is no long waiting period.
